Joyce Koh Boon Hwee (b. 1994, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia) gained her Diploma in Fine Art at The One Academy of Art, Kuala Lumpur (2016), where she studied commercial art and graphic design.

 

She is a multidisciplinary artist whose focus primary in painting and installation. Artworks which showcase her observation and exploration in social issue, personal experience and culture issue. Her subject matter regarding these concerns is surrounding people's daily routines and comments on human nature.

 

Joyce creates miniature fake food for certain companies .She is also the founder for Shizuoka Art Studio . Shizuoka Art Studio is a studio that teaches art education for children and adult. She is currently working on art teaching field and commercial art industry area.

 

Joyce Koh is also a certified art teacher who teaches in an International School. She teaches Year 4 to Year 11, Key Stage 2(KS2) - Key Stage 4 (KS4) Art & Design IGCSE (Cambridge Syllabus).  She is always passionate in sharing and teaching art. Joyce currently teaches and create her masterpieces in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
